Astrid Display Typeface · A Neoclassical Approach
Is a Modern serif font, inspired by Firmin Didot’s typeface design, which main characteristics were high contrast and vertical axis orientation.
My particular approach was to make this typeface focused even further in an absence of decorative terminals and accentuate its hairline serifs while adding roundness, and curves which tend to break and allow a renewed uniqueness.
